In the targeted area, we do remove fat cells that do not come back which means the shaping from the liposuction is very likely to last. However, the remaining fat cells are able to get larger if the patient gains weight. The area treated will generally not gain weight at the same rate as the other parts of your body due to the removal of fat cells.
