Liposuction, also known as liposculpture, is an effective surgical process that has become the most popular procedure for removing excess fat deposits. For a number of years, cosmetic surgery has been routinely performed around the eyes, nose, chin, cheekbones, breasts and abdomen of many people throughout the world. These procedures have all been continually refined with ever improving results. A heightened sense of confidence and increased self-esteem has been enjoyed by hundreds of thousand of patients through the art of cosmetic surgery.
For many others however, treatment for their problems has not been available until 1987 when Dr Jeffrey Klein published his first article describing the tumescent liposuction technique. These are the people who possess a maldistribution of body fat which causes their figures to be misshapen by what are commonly called saddlebags, love handles, pot belly and thunder thighs. Subsequent years have seen continual improvement with the tumescent liposuction technique. Liposuction is now a procedure of exceptional finesse that can be accomplished totally by local anaesthesia.
At the Liposuction Institute we separate ourselves not only through incredible results but by helping to speed up your recovery through correct supplementation and nutrition.

Every person is different and the fees depend on the number of areas to be treated. See Costs Page.

Yes we do. You can find out more about our Lipoedema treatment here.
A compression garment is worn over the treated areas for up to six weeks depending on the amount of fat removed and the elasticity of the skin. This helps the body to conform to its new contour. It is not noticeable under clothing.
Liposuction is not a treatment for obesity, though in some cases, volume reduction in a series of procedures can provide raised self esteem and can be a major incentive to manage weight and exercise more effectively.
Liposuction is more suited for those looking to remove hard to lose pockets of fat or sculpt areas in a desired way.
Liposuction is equally effective for both sexes.
All procedures are performed using oral sedation and local anesthesia known as the tumescent technique. To decrease anxiety and discomfort an inhalation gas known as pentox is available. Using the above anesthetics liposuction is performed with safety and with minimal discomfort.
